Walking holidays in Oxford

A walking holiday is a brilliant way to discover authentic, quintessential Oxford and we offer holidays to, from and around Oxford. With so many backwaters, sleepy lanes and secret alleyways, there’s a lot to discover here that you simply wouldn’t see in a vehicle. We offer a selection of carefully chosen routes for walkers, which we have personally designed together with locals who know the city and its environs inside out. This means our customers get to see the highlights of the “city of dreaming spires” as well as its lesser-known hidden gems that most tourists never discover, but are so close to the heart of Oxford.

Our walking routes take in not just the city centre, but also the surrounding countryside, parts of the Thames and the Oxford Canal and in some cases even The Cotswolds. Both self-guided and guided tours are on offer, ranging from 2 nights upwards to 8 nights or more. Most of our walking tours cover gentle distances - allowing you the luxury of time to slow down, soak up your surroundings and indulge in the occasional (or frequent!) pit stop at one of the many pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops or museums that catch your eye en route. Accommodation for tours including overnight stays is in our hand-picked selection of hotels and inns, chosen for their quality, character and location. There is typically a choice between classic and the very best luxury hotels.
